• Advertisement /əd'və:tismənt/ (n):  sự quảng cáo; bài quảng cáo (trên báo, trên đài...)  (Item of publicity to pro mote a product or service in newspapers, magazines, on TV, etc.)

Ex: She scanned the job/property advertisements in the paper.

• Advertising agency: công ty quảng cáo, hãng quảng cáo   (Marketing services firm that assists companies in planning advertisements.)

 Ex: A Chicago-area Subway franchisee took Fogle's story to Subway's Chicago-based advertising agency.

• Billboard /'bilbɔ:d/ (n)  Signboard or wooden structure used to display advertising posters.

Ex: Those West End theatre billboards, full of superlatives and gushing praise, are not always accurate.

• Broadsheet /'brɔ:dʃi:t/ (n): giấy khổ rộng chỉ in một mặt   Newspaper printed in a large format.

Ex: More than 30 million classified ads are posted on Craigslist each month.

• Commercial /kə'mə:ʃl/ (n):  buổi phát thanh quảng cáo hàng  (Advertisement on radio or television.)

Ex: We all ran to get something to eat during the commercials.

• Coupon /'ku:pɔn/ (n): phiếu thưởng hiện vật; phiếu dự xổ số (kèm với hàng mua) (Part of a printed advertisement to be used to order goods or samples.)

Ex: If you collect ten coupons from the newspaper, you can get a free beach towel.

•  Double-page spread: quảng cáo hai trang, trải rộng hai trang liền  (Advertisement printed across two pages in a newspaper or magazine.)

Ex: " Money does not make me happy " appeared first as double- page spreads in a magazine.

• Eye-catching /ˈaɪˌkæʧə/ (adj): thu hút, bắt mắt  (Something that particulary attracts the reader or viewer's attention.)
