Bài mẫu Part 2:

I have always been a punctual person, but today I would like to talk about a situation when I was late.

I remember it like it was yesterday. One year ago, on a beautiful summer day, I had to go on a university’s field trip to Ben Tre Province. But I was 30 minutes late for the departure time and everyone had already started without me.

I was late for the trip for 2 reasons. The first reason was that I overslept. It is hard to believe that a punctual person can oversleep, but it did happen to me. Here is the truth, the night before the day I was so excited about the trip that I couldn’t fall asleep until 2 in the morning. As a result, I couldn’t wake up on time, but I still had approximately 30 minutes before the due time, so I tried to do all of the preparation as hurriedly as I could. However, no matter how fast I rode, I was unfortunately stuck in a terrible traffic jam during rush hour, which is another reason why I was late. Eventually, I couldn’t make it to the gathering point on time and I had to go on another trip in the next semester.

After all, I felt ashamed that I had overslept and made everyone wait. I felt like I had let everyone down and that I had let myself down as well.

In conclusion, being late is not something to be proud of, but from my experience, it happens to everyone at some point. This experience taught me that it is important to be mindful of the time and plan ahead.

Bài mẫu Part 2

We all have memorable meals that we will never forget. However, some might be more extraordinary than others. Today, I’m going to tell you about an unforgettable meal that I had.

Last weekend, I went out with my friends and we decided to try a local restaurant which had just opened in my area. It was a small restaurant that served Indian traditional cuisine. The moment I came inside, I was impressed by the warm atmosphere and accommodating staff. We were all excited and curious about the coming experience.

We ordered different dishes from the menu, filled with unique and exotic dishes. The meal itself was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Despite the creative presentation, the flavors were incredibly intense, everything was extremely spicy and loaded with contrasting flavors and textures. I could taste a strong smell of garlic and pepper in every bite I took. To me, I must say that the flavorful dishes didn’t suit my tastes, while all of my friends surprisingly  enjoyed the meal.

Overall, although I was not into the food, I still paid respect to the culture of India. I found this meal to be an adventurous experience and a great opportunity to get together with my friends.

Bài mẫu Part 2:

Hide-and-seek was a game I used to love playing when I was kid.

Hide-and-seek is a game played with a group of friends, and I used to play it a lot with my neighbors. We'd meet in the late afternoon after school to pick the best hiding places in the park near my area. One person would be the seeker, who would close their eyes and count while the rest of us scattered to find hiding places. When the counting was finished, the seeker would open their eyes and look for the hiding players.

There were several reasons why I enjoyed playing hide-and-seek. I remember the excitement of finding the perfect hiding spot, crouching behind a bush or tree and trying to stay as still as possible while the seeker counted. And then there was the thrill of being found, of hearing the seeker’s footsteps getting closer and closer until they finally spotted me. And then there was the satisfaction of finding someone, of catching them by surprise and tagging them before they could run away.

Playing hide-and-seek was a great way to spend time with my friends. We would play for hours, taking turns being the seeker and the hider. It was a simple game, but it brought us so much joy. We would laugh and shout and run around, completely caught up in the moment.

Now, whenever I see children playing hide and seek in the park, it reminds me of a fulfilling childhood that I had and I am grateful for having my friends and family surrounded when I was a child.

Bài mẫu Part 2:

Let me tell you about the time when I helped my friend to learn English.

When I was in 8th grade, my best friend asked me to teach her English so that she could do well on her upcoming English grammar test. So, I immediately accepted her request without any hesitation, despite the fact that I had never taught anyone before. And just by that, she became my first student.

Because we were deskmates, I was somehow aware of her English grammar competence. I must say that she didn’t have much basic knowledge of English grammar, which made me struggle a lot in figuring out an appropriate teaching method. But I decided to make mind maps and time charts to facilitate me in giving lectures.

The next day she showed up at my house for the first lesson about Simple Tense, I was very confident that I could help her understand all of the rules. The lecture started smoothly when I explained to her how to apply the Simple Tense rules in different contexts. Noticing her nods during the lesson, I assumed she understood everything I taught. Nevertheless, when it came to the moment I asked her to do exercises, she could barely complete any sentences correctly. But It didn’t drive me up the wall, instead, I re-explained all the rules at a slower pace.

But then everything went off the rails, because, all of a sudden, my friend came up with a random topic and we ended up chatting about it for the rest of the time. As a result, the English lesson became a lively talk. After the lesson, my friend decided to take an English extra class which helped her pass the exams.

Although my effort of helping her to learn English wasn’t successful, I still consider it a humorous experience that cheers me up whenever I remember it.

Bài mẫu Part 2

One sport that I enjoy watching is volleyball. I usually watch volleyball games on television, because I have never had the opportunity to come to an actual volleyball tournament. But the convenience of watching from the comfort of my bed allows me to fully immerse myself in the excitement of the game.

I enjoy watching volleyball alone and with my best friends as I found they both have different advantages. But I would prefer gathering with my friends to watch volleyball because we can cheer for our preferred teams, discuss the strategies, and marvel at the players' incredible athleticism.

I find watching volleyball enjoyable for several reasons. Firstly, as a big fan of volleyball, I am captivated by the fast-paced nature of volleyball and skillful movement of the players. Besides,  the excitement of scoring, the competitive nature of the game, and the sense of community it fosters make volleyball a thrilling sport among people of all ages and backgrounds.

To me, this is not only a chance to let my hair down after hard-working hours but also a time to strengthen the relationship with my friends. Watching matches is also a great way for me to learn new moves and apply them into my real games with friends at school.

  • Why:

  • the most life-saving invention

  • laid the foundations for future vaccine development

  • Example:

  • the Coronavirus pandemic

  • the advent of Covid vaccine reduced the death rate

Bài mẫu Part 2

Well, when speaking of invention, the one that immediately springs to my mind is vaccines, because I believe it is the greatest invention that has positively changed people’s lives.

In the past, the world witnessed numerous pandemics and epidemics without any cure, such as smallpox, measles, and cholera. As a result, millions of people were killed. It was not until the 18th century that the first vaccine in the world was invented, and smallpox disease was eradicated

Although I am not a professional in the medical field, as far as I know, vaccines are biomedical preparation that activates our body's immune system to recognize and defend against harmful viruses and bacteria. Moreover, vaccines can be taken in various ways such as injections, liquids, pills, or nasal sprays.

It seems to me that vaccines is the most life-saving invention in the history of humankind, due to the fact that it has not only saved millions of lives each year, but also laid the foundations for future vaccine development. Let’s take the Coronavirus pandemic as an example. I still remember, at the beginning of 2020, the Coronavirus started to spread from China and broke out into a global pandemic. Without the vaccines, this dreadful virus took away millions of human lives within 2 years. However, thanks to the advent of Covid vaccine, the death rate of this disease has reduced.

Summing up, I’d like to say thanks to scientists who invented vaccines, they made the world a better place. And I hope that there will be more vaccines in the future that can prevent incurable diseases like HIV/ AIDS or even cancer.

Bài mẫu Part 2

Let me tell you about Mrs. Giang who moved into my community and brought a breath of fresh air to this place.

Mrs. Giang moved into my community three months ago, and she quickly became an integral part of our close-knit neighborhood. I remember my first impression of her was that she had a cold face which barely showed any emotions, so I thought she was not a friendly person. But one morning after a few days since her arrival, she came over to my house to give me a bracket full of fruits and vegetables. We chatted for a while, since then I realized that she is a very kind person who has a lovely smile.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Mrs.Giang better through her initiatives to improve the quality of life for people in the community. Every early morning, Mrs.Giang voluntarily cleans and picks up trash in all corners of the alley. Moreover, what I admire most about Mrs.Giang is her ability to bring people together. She also actively engages people in taking part in charity projects to help the disadvantaged in our communities have a better life.

Personally, I think Mrs.Giang has a significant impact on improving our lifestyles. Thanks to Mrs.Giang dedication, our community has become a positive environment where people help each other and make this neighborhood an eco-friendly place to live. Last but not least, she helped me learn that we should never judge a book by its cover, we shouldn’t judge people by their appearances but we should look at what they do and their contribution to society.

Bài mẫu Part 2:

Reading is one of my favorite routines in my life. Usually before bed, I set aside at least 30 minutes to an hour to read a book. This habit really helps me to let my hair down after a long day, and it's an ideal way to escape into another world and forget all of the worries or anxieties.

I read various genres, depending on my moods and interests. But I am really a big fan of romance novels, because they can boost my faith in love and life whenever I feel depressed. Apart from that, I also read self-help or educational books to acquire new knowledge and develop critical thinking. Whatever I choose to read, I always switch off my phone and remove myself from all distractions like social media so that I can totally immerse myself in the book. Sticking to this routine is not difficult for me, because I've always been a voracious reader, and making it a regular part of my evening routine helps me prioritize it and avoid skipping it.

People might say that reading so many books can make you out of touch with reality. But from my perspective, I see reading as a way to balance my emotions in the midst of social turmoil, and as a convenient method of learning. Additionally, there are a lot of practical lessons from books that you can apply to certain circumstances in your life.

Reading is one of my favorite pastimes, and I always look forward to spending time with a good book. It helps me relax and unwind, and it's a wonderful way to broaden my mind or escape into another world for a little while. Overall, the nighttime reading habit is an essential part of my daily routine.

One of the most exciting new developments in the area where I live is a small local park which is located in the middle of our peaceful residential area. Although it is not a large - scale park with huge gates and parking lots, this park brought a breath of fresh air to my community.

This park has no name but everyone in my neighbors normally calls it “The Greenery Park”, because it is an area filled with rows of shade trees, wild flowers, winding pathways, and lush lawns. The special feature of this park is that it has no gates or barricades, so people can freely come and go; this advantageous feature also brings people close to nature.

Since the park opened, it has quickly become a hub of activity in the community. People of all ages gather to walk, run, play, and relax in the beautiful surroundings. I love sitting under a tree shade in the afternoon reading or listening to the sound of moving leaves, it gives me a sense of serenity in the midst of social chaos. What is more interesting is in the autumn, the park changes its color and leaves fall down making a beautiful scenery beyond description, making this place become an ideal place for many couples to take wedding photos.

In conclusion, this green oasis has been a fantastic new development in my area. It has breathed new life into my beloved community space, and has given residents a beautiful new place to enjoy the outdoors.
